How To Choose Corrugated Boxes?

1. Corrugated model of corrugated board. Corrugated model according to the height of corrugated cardboard can be divided into A, B, C, E four categories. The mechanical properties of different corrugated cardboard are also different. The plane pressure of A type corrugated board is the highest, the compressive strength is also higher, B type is the opposite. Type C has better plane pressure, vertical pressure, parallel pressure and buffering force. The thickness between type A corrugated board is the largest, followed by type C, type B, and type E. Because the cardboard with small thickness is easier to bend, type B corrugated board is widely used in packaging boxes with low requirements on the compressive strength of the box. According to the mechanical properties of corrugated cardboard, single-sided corrugated box is best used type A or C, double-sided corrugated box is best used type A, B or B, C, close to the outer surface with type B. A, B or B, C combination can improve the physical and mechanical properties of cartons; Compared with printability, both type B and type C are good for printing.

2. On the premise of ensuring the quality of corrugated cartons, try to save the processing materials and packaging costs of cartons. For example, when the length: width: height of the carton with the same volume is 2:1:2, the material saving is the most, and when the ratio is 1:1:1, the material consumption is the most. Therefore, the use of square boxes should be avoided as much as possible, and consideration should also be given to the utilization rate of the product to the box volume, the utilization rate of the box to the truck and train car, and the stability of the stacking during storage, transportation and pumping.
